Instructions
Flour is not safe to eat raw. To make the flour safe for consumption, bake it in an oven preheated to 350 F for 5 minutes prior to completing the rest of the recipe. (Click here for more info from the CDC)
Cream together the softened butter, vanilla, salt, and both sugars in a stand mixer or by hand until fully combined.
Slowly add in the flour, while mixing, until the dough is completely mixed.
Portion the cookie dough into balls. I use a 1 tablespoon cookie scoop for this step. Roll them into smooth balls between the palms of your hands. (You can make larger or smaller sized cookie dough bites if you want!)
Pour some white sugar or colored sugar sprinkles out onto a plate. Roll the cookie double balls around on the plate until they're completely coated!
