    Edible Sugar Cookie Dough Bites

These edible sugar cookie dough bites are such an easy and fun treat! They're prefect for the holidays, or any time of year when the craving strikes! I love sugar cookies, and I'm not sure why edible sugar cookie dough isn't as popular as chocolate chip cookie dough. If you're a cookie dough lover, this is the perfect simple treat!

It's super easy to make these festive for any holiday or occasion, just pick up some colored sugar sprinkles! I made a red and green batch for Christmas, which is the batch pictured in this article. I can imagine these in baby blue and pink for a baby shower or mixed pastel colors for Easter. They're also great just rolled in white sugar as well!

Key Tips - Edible Sugar Cookie Dough Bites

    Pick up colored sugar sprinkles!

    • It's so easy to make these festive for any holiday or occasion, just roll them in colored sugar rather white sugar.
    • You can find colored sugar sprinkles in the baking aisle at most major grocery stores in the US.
    • Some ideas for how to decorate these: red & green for Christmas, blue and gold for Hanukkah, baby blue & pink for a baby shower, pastels for Easter, someone's favorite colors for their birthday, orange & purple for Halloween, red white & blue for the 4th of July, and whatever you can think of!

Make these ahead and store them in the freezer!

    • These are easy to make ahead and freeze, then defrost in the fridge before serving. Store them in an airtight container in the freezer.

    Don't eat raw flour!

    • Flour is not safe to eat raw. To make the flour safe for consumption, bake it in an oven preheated to 350 F for 5 minutes prior to completing the rest of the recipe.

    • Slowly add in the flour, while mixing, until the dough is completely mixed.
